Supporting GPs on their paperless journey

Realise the Benefits of noteSpace

Currently millions of records are being managed using our simple and effective noteSpace solution.

For GPs & Practice Managers:

Premises Improvement:

The Primary Care Infrastructure Fund is a four year, £1billion investment to accelerate improvements in GP premises and infrastructure.

This is part of the additional NHS funding, announced by the Government in December 2014, to enable the direction of travel set out in the Five Year Forward View.

In January 2015 NHS England invited bids for investment in 2015-2016 for Premises Improvement.

The deadline for this wave of bids closed on February 16th although there will be opportunities to bid for funding in future, which NHS England will communicate in due course.

Practices included secure off-site storage of Lloyd George records in their Premises Improvement bids on the basis noteSpace would help them meet the criteria that their applications would be assessed on:

  • Bringing into use rooms not previously used to support the delivery of primary medical services or the enlargement of existing rooms.
  • Improving physical access to and within Practice premises.
  • Improving Patient Waiting Areas.
  • Enhancing the security of Lloyd George records.

Details of the Primary Care Infrastructure Fund can be found on the NHS England website.

  • noteSpace responds to the increasing pressures of patients and policy makers by releasing space that can be used for additional services and supports the drive to a paperless practice.
  • Working alongside the major clinical systems, noteSpace is fully compliant with stringent Care Quality Commission requirements for records management.
  • Auditable records are easier to locate and access and are safe from fire and flood damage.
  • Records are held in NHS approved facilities regional to the practice.
  • New records can be picked up as part of a regular visit to the practice.

For Patients:

  • Patients can be safe in the knowledge that their notes are secure and accessible by the practice when required.

"The service we received from the initial meeting to the actual removal of notes was excellent."
