INPS and Niche Health are pleased to announce a partnership agreement that will see Niche Health’s ground breaking paperless insurance reporting solution iGPR deployed to UK GP practices using the INPS Vision clinical system.
iGPR has been developed over a two year period in consultation with GPs and the insurance industry to address the time consuming and ‘paper heavy’ burden of producing medical reports for insurers on behalf of patients.
The solution enables practices to complete insurance reports in a matter of minutes managing the end to end process including receiving the report request, reviewing patient consent, creating the report with automatic redaction of non-permitted information, report delivery and payment electronically.
iGPR saves substantial staff time, increases the security of patient information over existing postal arrangements and is provided to UK General Practices at no cost.
Max Brighton, CEO at INPS said: “iGPR is a good fit with the INPS strategy of encouraging healthcare transformation by offering solutions for the whole healthcare team. Automating the administrative burden of insurance reporting for practices will save time and improve the accuracy of the information they provide within insurance reports.’
Speaking about the partnership agreement Niche Health’s Managing Director Guy Bridgewater said: ‘We are delighted to be working with INPS to deliver iGPR to Vision users in what is another major step towards changing the way general practices manage requests from authorised third parties’
