Our Managing Director Guy Bridgewater voices his opinion on ‘innovation’ in the NHS in the Guardian Healthcare Network today.
“In an environment where efficiencies desperately need to be gained and lives are at stake, we don’t just need innovators who look to fix something that is not broken. Instead we need problem solvers who can focus on existing real-world issues that NHS staff and patients face every day.”

A reminder that we’ll be attending the National Vision User Group show at St. John’s Hotel in Solihull to introduce our products to delegates and answer any questions.
Once again we’ll be demonstrating iGPR – Intelligent GP Reporting which is undergoing a rapid uptake in GP Surgeries across the country and is provided at no cost to practices. Make sure to speak to us if producing reports for requesting third parties takes too much time at your practice – we can arrange installation and training (also at no cost) for you very quickly.
We’ll also be in attendance with our noteSpace service, which removes paper records from practices taking them to secure NHS-approved storage facilities. Records can be re-called electronically when needed using our software. Find out why “it’s the best thing that’s happened to our practice”.
And we’ll also be running our final iPAD competition – simply fill out an information request at our stand for a chance to win!
The NVUG is the last exhibition we’ll be attending this year, but we should be in attendance at all the major events in 2015. If you were hoping to see us this year, please feel free to contact us at Niche Health and we’ll answer any questions or queries you may have.
Gaynor Young, Practice Manager, was the lucky winner of our iPad competition in London on the 16th October. Gaynor visited us at our stand to enquire about our noteSpace solution as she, like many of the Practice Managers we saw on that day, has a need to create more space in her premises.
Gaynor has since received her iPad and has also requested a noteSpace quotation. Gaynor is excited about the ease of the solution and the space it will quickly provide. We are looking forward to working with Gaynor and her team at Oakridge Medical Centre in the very near future!
Claire Humpage, Practice Manager from Barnt Green Surgery in Worcestershire was the winner of Niche Health’s iPad competition at the MIP event in September.
Claire visited the stand for information about iGPR following the launch of the product in September.
Claire commented that “using iGPR to produce insurance reports electronically would save our practice much time, the redaction tool looks so quick and simple to use. We have already arranged a further presentation to our local Practice Managers Group.”
Congratulations to Claire, we hope she enjoys her competition win!
